The article titled, “Effectiveness of chemomechanical caries removal agents Papacarie® and Carie-Care™ in primary molars: An in vitro study” published in pages 17-22, Supplement 1, April 2016, vol. 6 of “Journal of International Society of Preventive and Community Dentistry”[1] is being retracted. It has been reported and found that the article contains overlapping content particularly the images with a previously publishing article entirled, “Evaluation of the Efficacy of Caries Removal Using Polymer Bur, Stainless Steel Bur, Carisolv, Papacarie – An Invitro Comparative Study” published in pages ZC42-ZC46, vol. 9 of Journal of Clinical and Diagnostic Research [2]. Figure 3 and 6 are direct copies where parts of Figure 2 and 4 were used from the reference article. Thus owing to duplicity of content and forgery of data, the concerned article is being retracted.
